Our Story
FabFlow grew out of our own frustration with the options on the market. Legacy MRP and ERP systems meant months of implementation, consultants, and price tags built for Fortune 500 manufacturers. Generic project management tools didn’t understand the difference between a weldment and an assembly. Spreadsheets worked — until a quote got lost, a revision went stale, or a customer asked for an MTR on a part that shipped three years ago.
So we built the middle path ourselves. Starting with quoting — the part of the business where minutes turned into lost jobs — we added work orders, purchasing, inventory, MTR traceability, and a shop floor kiosk where our welders and press brake operators clock in and punch their operations. The software runs the shop every day, and it’s the reason we can offer it to other shops: everything in FabFlow was built because a real fab shop needed it, not for a roadmap slide deck.

FabFlow’s product lead is a second-generation fabricator who has spent years working in fabrication shops across Ontario — on the floor, behind the quoting desk, and in sales — and designed the platform around the way a real shop actually works. The software is built with the team at the CWB-certified shop that runs it daily.
